    Getting Started

    Install on Linux

Install Legra on Linux x86_64 or arm64 using the method for your distribution.

    Ubuntu

Install Legra from the Snap Store:

    sudo snap install legra

    Debian and managed Ubuntu fleets

Use the APT repository for Debian, or for Ubuntu systems that intentionally avoid Snap. It publishes signed metadata for amd64 and arm64.

    curl -fsSL https://releases.legra.ai/apt/gpg.key | sudo gpg --dearmor -o /usr/share/keyrings/legra-archive-keyring.gpg
    echo "deb [arch=$(dpkg --print-architecture) signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/legra-archive-keyring.gpg] https://releases.legra.ai/apt stable main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/legra.list
sudo apt update && sudo apt install legra

For manual testing, individual packages are available for amd64 and arm64.

    RPM-based distributions

Download the package for your architecture and install it from that directory.

    For x86_64:

    sudo rpm -i legra.x86_64.rpm

    For arm64:

    sudo rpm -i legra.aarch64.rpm

    Other installation methods

    Homebrew

If you use Homebrew on Linux:

    brew install legra-ai/tap/legra

    Shell installer

    For non-interactive installations:

    curl -fsSL https://legra.ai/install.sh | sh

    Verify the installation

    legra --version

The terminal should display the installed Legra version. Your installed version may differ from the one shown:

Bash · LegraRunning legra --version prints the installed Legra version on one line.

The legra install command is the repair and reinstall entry point once Legra is present on the machine. On Ubuntu it installs or refreshes the Snap package by default.
