Workspace apps
Enable apps to add task-specific views and actions to a workspace.
Choose the workspace
Open the workspace where the app will be used, then open Settings and Apps. Review the listed app's purpose, required access, and prerequisites before enabling it. Organization policy and your own permissions still apply.
Enable the app
Enable the app from the Apps list. Review any prerequisites shown before confirming activation. If an app is already available because of the data in your workspace, you can still explicitly disable it.
When adopting a published package, review its changes and required checks before merging and activating it. This keeps the publisher's release and your workspace's adoption decision distinct.
Disable without deleting knowledge
Disabling an app does not delete its domain data. Deleting that data is a separate operation. An app that is required by another enabled app cannot be disabled until its dependent apps are addressed.
Organization policy can require or disallow an app. Hiding an app from your own navigation changes its presentation, not another participant's permissions.
Browse the registry for the initial catalog and Executable Use Cases for examples of the work they support.
